Tim Atkin MW to present his best Argentine wines of the year

In association with Wines of Argentina, wine journalist and critic, Tim Atkin MW, will present his best wines from Argentina in 2019 at the Argentine Embassy on Monday.

Showcasing over 80 different wines which all scored 95 points and above in Atkin’s 2019 Argentina Special Report, the event will also include two masterclasses focusing on Argentine white wines and the changing face of Malbec.

Atkin made his selections after spending three weeks in Argentina visiting vineyards and wineries in February, where he interviewed winemakers and tasted over 1,500 wines from 292 different wineries.

The wines on pour at this year’s event are produced by Achaval Ferrer, Altos Las Hormigas, Andeluna, Barbarians Wine Group, Bodega Aleanna (El Enemigo), Catena Zapata, Bodega Colomé, Bodega Cruzat, Bodega Norton, Bodega Piedra Negra, Bodega Tacuil, Bodegas Caro, Bodegas Fabre, Bodegas Salentein, Casarena, Cheval des Andes, De Angeles Viña 1924, Doña Paula, Domaine Bousquet, Durigutti Family Winemakers, El Esteco, El Porvenir, Zuccardi, Karim Mussi, Rutini Wines, Luca Wines, Marchiori & Barraud, Mendel, Mi Terruño, Per Se Vines, Pulenta Estate, Riccitelli Wines, Susana Balbo Wines, Tapiz, Terrazas de los Andes, Tinto Negro, Trapiche, Trivento, Vaglio Wines, Viña Cobos and Zorzal Wines.
